Monday, March 17 - Early release for students (2 hours early) - Parent/Teacher Conferences from 2:00 - 6:00PM
Wednesday, March 19 - Report cards go home
Saturday, March 22 - Pancake Breakfast at Applebee's - Tickets $7.00
Tuesday, March 25 - Writing SOL for 8th Grade Only (Multiple Choice)
Thursday, March 27 - Writing SOL for 8th Grade Only (Direct Writing)
YEARBOOKS & 8th Grade Ads - Yearbook orders and 8th grade ads must be must be in by March 21. Yearbooks cost $25.00 and ads cost $15.00 for 1/4 page. See Mrs. Hepler in Room 218 if you have any questions.
Parents!! Have you ever wanted to know what your student's grades are in the middle of the night or over the weekend? You now can view your student's progress from any internet connection. Click here for detailed instructions on how to log into your student's information. Once you receive your password you can log onto the ACPS Parent Portal. Peer Helpers and SCA sponsored a food drive for the Clifton Forge Food Pantry. A Hat Day was held with all proceeds going to the food pantry. Here are some members presenting the food and a check to the Food Pantry.
Alleghany County School Board Seeking Public Comment
The Alleghany County and Covington City School Boards are discussing options with regard to forming one merged school division. At their initial meeting, both school boards expressed the importance of public input. As a result, a secure email account has been set up for the purpose of receiving written comments. Persons desiring to submit questions, comments and/or concerns may do so by emailing
